Metallurgical Treatment

The process applied to improve the mechanical properties of the materials used in casting is called Metallurgical treatment.

In sand casting, the parts have an average hardness of 40-45 HB,
In investment casting, the parts have an average hardness of 50-55 HB,
In metal injection molding, the parts have an average hardness of 60-65 HB,
In low-pressure casting, the parts have an average hardness of 90-95 HB.

With this process, the material's strength and machinability are improved and brought to a better position.

At Modsa Döküm's facility, modern technologies are used for heat treatment processes. Heat treatment is a process applied to improve the hardness, strength, and other mechanical properties of metal parts. Modsa Döküm's heat treatment systems are designed to ensure that parts undergo heat treatment uniformly. This ensures that the desired mechanical properties of the parts are achieved, resulting in high-quality products. Modsa Döküm's heat treatment processes are equipped with automatic control systems to ensure high precision and efficiency. Heat treatment involves subjecting parts to different temperature and pressure conditions. Modsa Döküm's heat treatment systems allow the production of parts with different properties, tailored to the needs of customers. As a result, it becomes possible to produce products that meet the needs of various industries. Heat treatment holds a significant place in Modsa Döküm's production process and is an indispensable process for producing high-quality products.
